Fatboy Slim Rocks London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony

Fatboy Slim rocked the Olympics 2012 closing ceremony night on August 12, 2012. He tweeted the picture, “’Bless this Olympic (Acid) House!” The Portslade based DJ began where comedian Russell Bbrand left off, after he performed ‘Pure Imagination’ Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and The Beatles’ I Am The Walrus with string quartet Bond on a psychedelic tour bus.

The bus turned into a fluorescent 50m octopus as Fatboy Slim rose from its head, spinning his decks as dancers performed to his amazing hits ‘Righ Here, Right Now’ and ‘The Rockafeller Skank’.

Fatboy Slim (real name Normal Quentin Cook) said that he had kept mum about the event for about 8 months. He said that he was happy to perform in the fantastic atmosphere at the stadium and the all-star cast troupe had no egos whatsoever.
