The Grand Canyon prank has become really viral; Samantha Busch is the new web actress with her brilliant prank that resonated throughout the Internet. The 22 year old girl texted a picture of herself plunging into the huge abyss. The photo was a ploy to shake her over protective mother.
Needless to say, Mrs. Busch of Westmont, Illinois was shaken up and said that the photo nearly gave her a heart attack. Samantha was quoted telling ABC news, “’For five days up to when we left, my mom had warned me about falling off the cliff or being blown off.”
Beaming, the girl said, ‘So when we were hiking around the corner, I found a good spot where I could stand on the ledge. (My boyfriend) angled the camera just right and he took a great picture.’
Samantha’s mother Rebecca Busch and colleagues at work were shaken but the young woman is in no mood to make this prank her last one. ‘I messaged it to her first and she works for a medical auditing company and there are women who have known me since day one, and they freaked out over it also,’ Ms Busch said.’I emailed it to them, too, and they were all freaking out over it saying I gave them a heart attack.’
To make the prank more credible, Samantha turned off the GPS locator on her cell phone so she couldn’t be tracked. ‘I work for her, so constantly every single day we communicate over work stuff,’ she added.
Rebecca put the caption ”Mom was worried about my trip to the Grand Canyon, I sent her this picture.’ Ms Busch uploaded the spoof photograph to Reddit and it went viral immediately.
Samantha said that though her mother was disturbed in the beginning she has calmed down and has forgiven her. “’She’s fine. She wasn’t even angry. She was just relieved,’ the young woman smiled. But despite this Grand Canyon prank, Rebecca is no mood to stop her fun and games “There is no end to my pranks” she adds.
