iPhone 5 battery life has been sticking like a sore thumb on the phone that has been lapped up by many. No doubt, it is a great smart phone that has been able to surprise Samsung Galaxy S3 but the battery power still continues to be an issue.
It was noted not only for the iPhone 5, but for iPhone’s previous versions too that initially the battery drains quicker than expected. However in the case of iPhone 5, it was noted that only those who restored their old iPhone to the new one faced this issue.
Apple has provided a fix for this bug. It’s simple too. All you need to do is reset all the iPhone settings. It is however a good idea to backup your phone before you reset as you might lose all your data during the reset process. After that it is a three step process. Go to Settings, browse to General and reset. Tap on “Reset all Settings”. This will prompt you for a password once entered, follow the onscreen instructions and you should be good to go. This should not wipe out your phone data completely but in case of some accidental cases you may lose data.
