Michael Jackson’s house where he died has been sold for $18.1 million. It was originally listed for an impressive $38.5 million as asking price in 2008.
The house where Michael Jackson lived in his last days was the French Chateau-style mansion. The seller was Hubert Guez, CEO of designer clothing , El Hardy and the buyer was Steven Mayer, senior managing director for Cerberus Capital Management. The transaction was handled by Mauricio Umansky of the Agency in Beverly Hills.
The property measured 17,000 square foot and was designed by Richard Landry. AEG, the concert promoter had leased the property to Michael Jackson for $100,000 a month who died from Propofol overdose in oen of the seven rooms on June 25, 2009. He lived in this house with his three children, Prince Michael, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10.
Michael Jackson was called ‘final curtain calls’ and was about to start at London’s O2 arena but never happened due to his death. His doctor Conrad Murray, was sentenced to four weeks in prison, charged of involuntary manslaughter.
