Samsung Galaxy S3 now comes in a smaller mini version. Samsung recently released the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini a smaller and cheaper variant of the smartphone. Its features are not that small though. It is good to know that it keeps up with any other smartphone in the market.
Galaxy S3 Mini screen size
Samsung’s mini S3 is four inches diagonally and is just a little smaller than the original Galaxy S3 from Samsung which is 4.8 inches diagonal. As for size and weight – it is compact and easy to carry around.
From the look of things, though Galaxy S3 is supposed to be an Apple iPhone 5 competitor, the size of S3 Mini is equivalent to that of iPhone 5.
Amongst the top features are that it has a dual core 1 GHz processor, supports 16 GB and 8 GB storage which is expandable to 32 GB, and it has got the latest Android operating system pre-installed with it. Other than these it has also got S Voice – similar to Apple’s Siri. Though it requires some fine tuning, it is good enough to operate conveniently. Front and rear cameras are modified.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini comes with Android Jelly Bean, which the larger S3 version still has to be upgraded to. Apart from that, Galaxy Mini S3 has a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen with resolution of 480 x 800, which may not be brilliant but is still decent enough. While the Galaxy S3 is power-packed with 1.4GHz quad core processor, the Mini S3 has 1GHz dual processor.
All in all, Galaxy S3 Mini is definitely a good buy in the mid range smartphone market. Samsung Galaxy S3 mini has much to offer though in a compact size and lower price.
